I started with thinking about the concept of time. In my opinion, the concept and the system of time is constructed by humans based on the change of the world. And people's concept of time first came from the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. I have therefore used sunrise and sunset in this animation to symbolize the passage of time for human beings. But the concept of time has no meaning for other creatures or for the earth itself; this concept, born in human life, can only work in human society. So then I had another thought: what would it mean for humanity and the system of time if the sun one day disappeared and could no longer be observed? This seemed to have nothing to do with the earth. Also this idea extends to environmental issues, what does it mean for the earth itself when humans pollute the environment? Perhaps the changes in the existing environment do not actually have any effect on the earth, and the only people affected are humans themselves. So the point of environmental protection is not really to protect the earth, but to allow humans to survive.

Also, in this animation, I have used a lot of circling movements and circles to represent the meaning of the cycle. At the end of the story, when humanity and all civilisations collapse, life reappears in the world in a different way, forming a cycle. The sun is no longer present and the concept of time in human society has disappeared, but everything is still changing.
